The I Heart Faces Challenge is still pretty new to me but I really love the idea of it. They pick a theme for a photo and you enter one of your photos. I love to see the beautiful entries of the other people and I love any excuse to look through my photos. This website really inspires creativity and more importantly, a positive reaction to the creativity of others. I think that's huge. It's so important to recognize that everyone has their own gift and it's no reflection of yours. We've all got a lot to give and our gifts are varied. So I say embrace what yo momma gave you and what their momma gave them. :)

On another note, I really want to blog more and actually tell people I blog instead of shooting my random words into outer space. So, I am going to try to work on that this year. Let's see how it goes.

The second I saw this picture, my heart went thump-thump-thump really fast. It just makes me so happy. And I love a photo that makes you smile big. This little bundle of yumminess is Cheyenne and she's a firecracker. I am lucky enough to be friends with her cool momma so I get to watch her get big and do really stinkin' cute baby stuff. Double the fun

So, here we are in football season and both of my girls picked cheerleading as their thing to do this fall. I knew what a big time commitment it would be, so I was a bit hesitant to let them go for it. But here we are, only 6 weeks from being done with the season and I see this picture. This is double trouble, cuteness and sisterhood all wrapped up in a cute uniform and a ponytail. I can definitely get on board with that.

Well, welcome summer. It's nice to finally have you here. I am excited to play with the family, spend some time getting organized and learning some new things about my camera. I just took a class called Momtography at a cool store in Pensacola called Rob's Camera. It was about learning to take better photos of your kids which was perfect for me, the Mommarazzi. They offer all sorts of cool classes in you are local and interested in learning more about using your DSLR. Here are a couple of shots I took on the beach of the girls this week.

Just got back from a full week at the happiest place on earth. We had a fabulous, exhausting trip and mingled with the royalty daily! I took over 2000 pictures and will be a busy little scrapbooker in the near future. Here's a collage of some of my favorite pics. Enjoy!!

Scrapfreak is a store, forum and gallery of scrappy goodness. I just found this site at a perfect time - they were having a 2nd birthday bash online crop. I participated in the crop last weekend and got crazy inspiration from the challenges, did lots of pages & as the cherry on top - won a gift certificate to the store. Can't beat that! Check it out - they are super nice and talented!

Good Times

There is something near perfection that happens when you scrapbook great pictures of people you love on beautiful paper. It just feels good. My hubby took my kids to see his parents Saturday and I got to spend Saturday night scrapping with my good friend. We had lots of fun. We listened to music , acted like goofballs, and got to relive some great memories while scrapping our family pictures. Love times like this!

Happy Birthday Barbie!

Did you know today is Barbie's 50th birthday? Happy birthday Barbie. I remember getting Western Barbie for Christmas when I was a little girl and she was supposed to be able to wink with one of her beautiful blue eye-shadowed eyes but it didn't work. I remember being in my room with the door closed and smacking my brand new Barbie against my dresser. I don't know why. Maybe I thought that would make her work. Poor Western girl. For the most part, I loved my Barbies and took very good care of them. I dressed them stylishly and let them drive happily around in the pink convertible. I love the memories I have of being a little girl and letting my imagination roam with those dolls.

We went out to the beach last Monday on my birthday to take some pictures. I was super excited because we got some really great
ones even though it was chilllllly. We had fun and now I have lots of sweetness to scrapbook. Yay! Happy birthday to me.

A layout I made last night using 52 Sketches52weeks. Just found this site and am going to give it a go. There is a new sketch every week to get your creative juices going and you can even win great stuff if you participate. This layout is a bit unusual for me because there's only 1 photo. I decided to do a Valentines layout of my hubby & I and I like it. I always scrap the kids so this was fun. Hope you like! The paper is Close To My Heart's Magic Moments.

There is not much better than having a dance and fun-filled night with great friends. We had an amazing time dancing to Dave and catching up with friends in Dallas last spring. Sometimes I miss living in an actual city.
